herzlich willkommen hier. Meine Hündin ist ja an einem Osteosarkom gestorben. In einer Zeit wo sie sehr schlecht gefressen hat, habe ich vieles ausprobiert u.a. auch das Essen leicht angebraten. Ich barfe seit diesem Zeitpunkt und vorübergehend hatte das leichte Anbraten bei meiner Gina Maus den Appetit wieder zurückgebracht.

Ich könnte es mir nur erklären: Die Chemo schädigt ja besonders die Schleimhäute, vielleicht hat er da im Magen und Darm Probleme? Gastritis oder sowas ähnliches. Wir haben immer noch Mittel zur Herabsetzung der Magensäurekonzentration parallel zur Chemo gegeben.
Ist ihm denn sonst schlecht oder erbricht er?

ich heiße dich erstmal herzlich Willkommen und würde mich auch freuen, etwas mehr über euch zu erfahren. Wenn du magst, kannst du uns auch in der Rubrik "Eure Geschichten" etwas über den Krankheitsverlauf deines Hundes berichten.

Wir haben äusserst selten das Problem, dass gemäkelt wird und Appetit ist immer da ... aber falls doch mal etwas nicht so gut ankommt, wirkt bei uns ein Schuß Buttermilch oder eine Prise Parmesan wahre Wunder.

Als Aufbaunahrung könntest du deinem Hund (wie heisst er denn?) den Wunderbrei von Aldington anbieten, der baut auf und sollte dein Hund sein Futter mal nicht fressen, bekommt er durch den Wunderbrei alles was er so braucht und die Menge ist äusserst gering, man bekommt sie leicht in den Hund.
Falls du Interesse daran hast, über Google findest du leicht das Rezept.

herzlich Willkommen auch von mir, auch wenn es ein trauriger Anlaß ist! Leider kann ich Dir keinen Rat geben, da mein Zito nur Cortison bekommen hat und dadurch einen guten Appetit hatte. Aber ich denke, andere hier im Forum können Dir hilfreiche Tips geben. Ansonsten fühle Dich hier gut aufgehoben und verstanden.

Wegen der Ernährung ließ Dich einfach mal ein, viele hier im Forum Barfen ihre Hunde und kommen damit sehr gut zurecht. Was bekommt Dein Hund denn momentan zum fressen bzw. was bietest Du ihn denn an?
